What happens when we are seen in places unexpected while on some occasions. We might generate some curiosity on others. We might even leave some raised eyebrows. But there is one phenomenon that elicits both these reactions almost at the same time unidentified foreign objects. Who hasn't heard of them popularly known as UFOs, described as flying saucer look-alikes have since long captured the public's fancy. Sending homo sapiens into a frenzy - keeping the story alive over the years.
According to reports the pentagon set up a new office in July this year to handle reports related to UFO sightings. As 144 UFO sightings were shared with the U.S office of the director of national intelligence between 2004 and 2021 leading to opening up of auto which stands for all domain anomaly resolution office apart from sky is also responsible for tracking identified objects underwater and even in space.
The office was established after UFOs attracted modern years continuous attention. According to reports these UFOs were primarily observed by military Pilots but were not reported due to a fear of stigma. The office was set up not only to examine the question of whether there is extraterrestrial life but also because of the security risk posed by so many encounters with unknown flying objects. By military installations and aircraft though the pentagon's UFO investigation finds no evidence of alien activity. The Congress held his first Hearing in May this year in more than half a century on the subject.
The members expressed concern over the objects being alien or potentially a new technology. Top Pentagon officers, Scott Bray showing a clip of an unidentified object observed by a Navy pilot in 2021, the deputy director of Naval intelligence told lawmakers that he did not have an explanation for what this specific object was. He added that there were a number of events for which they did not have an explanation. Flown in by China Russia or other adversaries they feared that the new technology in question could be stealth bombers stealth Fighters drones and Hypersonic missiles.
The pentagon's effort to investigate anomalous unidentified objects has led to hundreds of new reports now being investigated. U.S defense officials stated on Friday in June this year. NASA 2 launched a UFO study despite reputation risk involved. So is there someone out there.
Well, we'll have to wait a little longer before we have a conclusive answer to these elusive questions.
